The whole experience was exceptional. From my first meeting with John Parkes in late April (just for an appraisal); to listing my property in early May; to a signed contract in mid May with settlement in early July (wow!) I found John to be very personable, positive and supportive. His help and advice regarding the presentationof my home was invaluable, particularly with 'the decluttering' process which was a challenge as I like to clutter. John Parkes from Ray White in Tugun has recently sold my house. This has been a remarkable feat of salesmanship and would not have been possible without his dedication to service. It has been a long drawn out process due to market uncertainty and marital issues. John has been there for me all the way.

The house was first marketed by John in May 2010. He persevered with numerous open houses and excellent advertising in a very slow market. A contract was signed in July after great liaison with the prospective buyer, unfortunately due to an unsatisfactory building report the sale fell through. The market slowed further but John never gave up and was able to convince the buyer that the property was still viable, with a small price reduction he was able to secure another contract and the house was once again under contract followed by a successful sale.

All in all it has been a long drawn out process, further hindered by the fact that the property had 3 owners and they were at odds over price and timing of sale.
