Beginning my Real Estate career in the nineties as an enthusiastic rookie with lots of energy & a genuine passion for the industry, I quickly realised that I had found my true vocation. Not knowing it at the time, but learning my trade in a very tough market proved to be an invaluable experience. By not knowing that there was any other kind of market I just got on with the job loving every minute of the rollercoaster ride that is working in Real Estate.
Having a competitive nature I always strived to achieve the best results, enjoying a lot of success as a salesperson at local agencies until 2006 which was when I made the decision to take the next step of purchasing the small Ray White Elanora office with my wife Caroline which proved to be the ideal stepping stone towards our next move to Ray White Tugun two years later.
Taking on a large established office with a completely different culture to what I was used to turned out to be a whole new challenge. Looking back now at the complete transformation of the office from our beginnings in 2008 I can honestly say all the hard work & difficult decisions were well worth it. Now we have an agency that we are truly proud of, filled from front to back with the best people you could hope to have around you, highly skilled with positive attitudes.
There is a belief that Real Estate is a cut throat business with fierce internal competition the only real formula to creating a successful sales environment. Yet our approach to driving a successful business is healthy competition combined with positive support. Many offices talk about team work whilst we genuinely live it, from administration through to property management & sales, it is one of our core values as a business which continues to deliver me the most satisfaction as a principal.
